It posted a net profit of Rs 42.57 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 63.21 crore in the same period last year. Total Income (net of excise) has increased to Rs 247.43 crore for Q1 FY 06-07 from Rs 247.08 crore in Q1 FY 05-06--the net income remained flat.
