ICICI BANK Threatens me....for my views on their inefficient, CMD, Chandra Kochcher and also for their inaction/hollowness..!!
ICICI Bank sent me the following threatening mail, but why? Because they want to crush every voice which shows their inaction, their false commitments, hollowness, harassment, etc. They harass people in the name of security, flout RBI rules in matters of credit card defaults, harass people in the matters of getting cheque book in the home address, compulsorily ask people to go in for the debit card and so on--but when one exposes the same, they threaten to take action against the person.....what a nonsense.....
IF ANYONE HAS ANY GRIEVANCE AGAINST THE BANK, THEY ARE REQUESTED TO SENT IT TO ME, IT WOULD BE PUBLISHED HERE FOR PUBLIC VIEWING....!!
I shall answer to their mail in this blog only for public viewing, but later.....and no blog post will be removed--this is for sure. I  have placed my opinion and I have used my right of freedom of speech enshrined in the constitution of India. I am a citizen of India and NOT of Saddam Hussein's Iraq. I am a patriot and a crusader of peoples' rights.....
I have lakhs of supporters backing me for my stand on certain issues, which are for public interest. And a BANIA BANK like ICICI Bank wants to kill my voice, by threatening me......what a sham....??!! They think that I am another Tom, Dick and Harry. Huh!!
ICICI Bank is asked to take any action against me--I do not care...!! I shall still say their present CMD is worthless, who does not know how to speak in public or what to say in public. She should be replaced immediately by a good one, who is capable of removing  the rust in the bank, accumulated over years and usher in a change. She is no match for the leadership qualities of K V Kamath (but on the flip side, he was over ambitious and created a mess by going in for too much expansion). 
If these people says too much, then I shall first close my account with the BANK and then file a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) against the bank in any Honourable High Court of India and drag them to Honourable Supreme court for the redressal  of my grievances. After that every negative news of the bank will be posted in this blog for public viewing...and this would be continued...till the bank goes in for public apology for sending me a threatening mail.....!! I do not mind going to JAIL for a public cause......So ICICI Bank can take any action against me.....if they think it would improve the business of the  bank..
But then if ICICI Bank think that I am without legal weapons, then they are grossly wrong. They must have heard the name of Dr. Subramanium Swami (of Janata Party) who also fights a battery of defamatory cases against him alone.....Hence, if ICICI Bank goes in for extreme action, I shall also not be standing empty handed and use all the powers/sources at my disposal to treat ICICI Bank the way it deserves........!! I have seen lot of such red eyes in my life and I know how to answer them......This is another case of "Ulta Chor Kotwal ko daate"....NDTV Ltd's Barkha Dutt also tried against a blogger without improving herself and now she is fully tainted lady not finding place to hide....!! This will happen to ICICI Bank, if they think they can trample the voice of a blogger.

One of their customers write the following: Complaint against ICICI Bank Internet Fraudulent debit out of my saving Accounts:

Dear Sir,
1. I, Mayank R Mathur, write this letter as a last hope, as I have totally lost hope from ICICI Bank governing system, though having a continued loyalty with the bank for the last 13 years. I have full faith that you would surely understand the fraudulent debit, which happened with my account, making me loose the hard earned money.

3. I maintain three accounts with ICICI bank, one Salary account at Hyderabad (Banjara Hills) and two accounts at Vadodara(Landmark branch). 

4. On the 4th of March 2010, to my horror I noticed some fraudulent debit happening in my accounts, I immediately reported the matter to the Bank Authorities in Hyderabad (BM-Mrs Monideepa, Mr Shiva) and Vadodara(BM-Mr Anantha). The bank accounts I hold and the fraud details are as given below.
a) A/c (Banjara Hills, Hyd)- Rs 5000/-
b) A/c (Landmark, Vadodara)- Rs 19849/-
c) A/c (Landmark, Vadodara)- Rs 5000/-
Total loss of Rs 29849/-

5. The respective Branch Managers helped in freezing the account then, and also assured me that the amount fraudulently debited would be returned to you in about 4-5 weeks of time. I visited both the branches on numerous occasions in the last 10 months and met the respective Branch Managers too, they have now expressed their inability to help/assist me in getting my amount back. The incident is now 10 months old, but nobody from the bank is ready to help. I also wrote a complaint to ICICI Bank CMD Mrs Chanda Kochhar, to which I got a reply from the bank staff that they shall not regularise the amount fraudulently debited from my accounts, and on the contrary they have blamed me for the said loss of my money.

6. I have all the copies of the correspondence with the ICICI Bank till date. Do please let me know, when and where can I send the same for your perusal.

I had defaulted on my credit card but always made the payment. I made a payment of 2100 on the 26th october, instead of minimum payment of 2150, yes... 50 rs less. One of the customers of ICICI Bank writes: I have an account in ICICI bank, Account Id : 017701527170. & ICICI credit card too.
I deposited a cheques in ICICI bank ambattur, Chennai branch on 30th April 2010, and cheques details are mentioned below-
1) Cheque Number- 343369
2) Bank's name cheque belongs to- State Bank of India
3) Branch- S.B.I. Main Branch, Varanasi (U.P.)
4) Cheque Amount- Rs. 23910/-

Problem is ICICI bank doesn't have any update about that cheque because of this i am not able to make ICICI bank's Credit card.

Bank is not able to get the details of cheque but able to charge the fine for late paymeny and all, While it's bank's mistake only why I am not able to make credit card payment.

Apart from all this I have visited Ambattur branch 4-5 times and written many mails to ICICI customer care but all are worthless.

So can someone help me loggin a case in consumer court against ICICI bank.

I am one of NRI customer for ICICI Bank Ltd, It is one of worst Bank and Bad Customer service, Even simple request like change of address, Check Book request etc they ask NRI customers to Old Papaer filled method by paying huge courier fee to send to Mumbai Office, It takes for weeks wheather they really updated these simple request or not . Whenever we call customer service they are worst they are not customer friendly, No user friendly interface of thier online banking, it is one of worst interface in the name of transaction id not able to update any customer profile. generally i recommand all fellow NRI friends don't open any accounts service with ICICI bank they loot money in the name of fee, no user friendly service also. please look other good services like SBI, HDFC, Citi NRI account services.

I am another victim of ICICI Bank Credit Card. They issued me an EMI Credit Card. Initially they said they don't charges any Annual fees. But when I received my card, they charged me 2000/- on the first day itself. When I refused to pay the amount they charged me 1200/ per months and the debited my account with out any prior information. This bank is to cheat people and they don't have any ethics in business. They just like gundas wearing white colors.
