CHEATING/LOOTING IN THE NAME OF PROVIDING MAID SERVANTS FOR DOMESTIC WORK IN MUMBAI (BOMBAY) BY A, B, C, D AGENCIES, IN COLLUSION WITH SUCH ADVERTISING SERVICES AS JUST DIAL (www.justdial.com). 

Have you ever tried for a maid servant in Mumbai (Bombay) through some A, B, C, D agencies, who guarantees to provide you maid within the next 2-7 days? If not  please try once with many such agencies, which have mushroomed in the city, in full glare of the  administration. All the political parties look from a distance the drama unfolded, as the maids and agencies make money at the cost of hapless people of Mumbai (Bombay). 

Ya, the maids in the process might charge as high as Rs.9000-10, 000 per month for domestic work in times of emergency. 
The question is how the system works: 
1. You need a maid servant for domestic work who is ready to work for say, 24 hours for 7 days a week, with 2 days holidays in a month. 
2. You call up the agency people and ask them about your requirements. The agency people will immediately say, "Sir mil jayega na" (you will get sir).
3. So they will send their boy to your place, who will let u fill up a form. After filling up the form, they would ask for 50-60% advance payment of the service charge which varies between Rs.3000--Rs.7000 per year (depending upon the agencies)
4. The boy vanishes in Mumbai, never to be seen again for the next may be 7 days. 
5. The real game starts after that: 
(a) You say, Mr.Ravi came and took money from me, when can I get the maid. The other voice will say, Mr.Ravi is not here at the moment, but we will pass on the message and ask you to call the next day. You ask the gentleman's name, he would say, he is Akshay.
(b) Next day you call up the agency people and ask for the maid servant. Then another person will pick up--this time the name could be Raj, who will say, Mr.Akshay and Ravi are not there in the office and the same thing.
(c) You call up the 3 rd time, then another person (the same person who has changed his name for the 3 rd time) will say, Sir, it is only 3rd day, you need to wait till 7 th to get the maid. If you have urgency, then the charges could be as high as Rs.7000. You take the maid and we get the charges". 
(d) You agree with the same and a boy brings a maid servant to your place for interview. This maid servant is generally good looking and well dressed. You might first get shocked to see such an well dress and beautiful maid. If you are an unmarried fellow like me in the house, you would at once go for the deal. You pay, Rs.7000 and the maid is into your house. 
(e) Ya, now you are fully into the trap of those agencies, who have fooled you. The maid will come to the kitchen and start doing work in such a way, that you would think that you have won, the deal. If you have a family, your wife will smile at you, because she might thank the agency people for such a great deal. 
(f) Now, the real net is over you body. You might go to office and your wife might take a nap, thinking the new maid will do all your work. 
But, YOUR WIFE WILL BE SURPRISED TO FIND THAT, THE MAID HAS LEFT YOUR HOUSE SLYLY TO FOOL ANOTHER HOUSE, MAY BE THE NEXT DAY......
(g) To your dismay, you call up the office of the agency....and yes  you have guessed it right. No one will pick up your phone, unless you call from a different number. If they pick up also, they will feign ignorance and say, "Let us enquire about the incident. It will take a couple of days more". 
(h) The things drags on for at least 7 days, and then if you are lucky and can follow up the case, then you might be provided with a maid, who might not be fit to do your work. 
(i) If you are desperate to get a maid, you might call up another agency to see if you get maid this time or not......
(j) THERE IS ANOTHER part of the story too: You might have to wait for months and lot of follow ups to get your desired maid servants. 
Most of the Mumbaites (Bombayites) knows the story, but none can do anthing because of the loopholes in the law. 
BUT MOST OF THESE SERVICES ARE REGISTERED WITH JUST DIAL (www.justdial.com), who promote these cheat companies for their own benefits. 
POLICE AND LOCAL ADMINISTRATION DO NOTHING IN SUCH  CASES BECAUSE MOST OF THESE AGENCIES ARE NOT REGISTERED WITH ANYBODY......AND THE LOOTING OF PUBLIC MONEY CONTINUES.
