SumanSpeaks Independent Capital Markets & Geopolitical Intelligence RBI Policy Decoded The Repo Rate Hike: Inflation Gave the Cover, the Rupee Gave the Reason The RBI raised the repo rate by 25 basis points to 5.50 percent on 7 October 2026. With the rupee at ₹96.78 to the dollar, the Fed at 3.75–4.00 percent and bank credit growing near 18 percent, the fuller story is bigger than August CPI of 4.8 percent. The Reserve Bank of India raised the repo rate by 25 basis points to 5.50 percent on 7 October 2026. It is the first hike since February 2023, and the stance has moved from neutral to calibrated tightening. The rate decision was unanimous. The Governor cited inflation. The Monetary Policy Committee said the inflation outlook is no longer as comfortable as it was last year, and near-term rate cuts were taken off the table. That is the official story, and it is not wrong. But it is incomplete. Look at what surrounds the decision: a rupee near its record...
WINNING STROKES: THINK DIFFERENT:
The morning call (yesterday) to average, Northgate Technologies Ltd made it hit the buyer freeze, before cooling down a bit. The company is doing much better now as compared to 6 months back. But what is most unfortunate is that pay package of one of the executive directors have been placed at a whooping Rs.24, 00, 000 (2.4 million) per annum excluding other packages like entertainment (first time heard that a company provides packages for entertainment....hence try to get a job in Northgate Technologies,  you might get paid for spending a night with prostitutes/sex workers in Sex Paradises like, Bangkok, Las Vegas, Bombay, etc in the name of company's work--disgustful--)....The management and its CFO, the army-man, Mr.Singh still has no shame....some shareholders should kick the asses of these "shameless donkeys" and teach them how to give benefit to the shareholders....Could we think of having a party when our house is burning---but look what the management of Northgate Technologies Ltd is doing at the present moment.
My recently recommended Alembic Ltd touched Rs.77.25 yesterday. The stock was recommended around Rs.67-68, a couple of weeks back.
My recommended Refex Refrigerants Ltd at Rs.23-24, touched Rs.35 yesterday, after crossing Rs.36 a couple of days back. But then what to do with the scrip...?? Ask the Paid Members........!!
My recommended Panoramic Universal at Rs.21-22, touched Rs.25.60 for the 2nd time, yesterday.
Avon Corporation Ltd should be accumulated by the investors for some good targets going forward. The company is doing well and this scrip should not stay at Rs.5-6 for too long time--no one can stop the scrip from rising to Rs.11-12 levels. Slow and steady accumulating is going in the scrip.
It is unfortunate that Money Control Message Board (MMB) has become a place for spreading mis-information to the hapless investors/traders. Though I have expressed my concern and appealed to SEBI to ban such activities for cheap publicity, but still the things are going on. I have even asked SEBI to introduce a photo identity proof of the person who sends such PRICE SENSITIVE information---but unfortunately it has fallen to the deaf ears of the regulators as the scrips are  being manipulated at the cost of hapless investors......all sorts of Bizarre news are being posted in MMB, by the name of guest on Jupiter Bio Science Ltd....Like this one, posed by some guest (or should I say, a ghost writer):  "3.5 Cr shares have been pledged as GDR, Which is more then the total no of shares holding by Company. May I presume that whole company have been mortgaged"----this statement is FALSE as the total number of shares is now around 6.25 Cr (approx)...!! I do not know who pastes all these wrong informations in MMB.....Moreovero, CNBC TV18/Money Control is setting, a very bad precendence...it seems a large section of Indian media is now dependent more on prostitution to generate cash.....
