QUERY FROM AN INVESTOR:

Hello Suman Sir,

I have found this stock named " VTM LTD" [532893].... You obviously might be knowing about it while I was checking out the fundamentals I noticed that its trading 31.7% below its Book Value...

Its book value is Rs.205. It has a promoter holding of 75%... Reserves worth Rs.79 crores.. EPS is above Rs.35 as per 10-11 june quarter... It has face value of  Rs.10..

All this and a market cap of mere Rs.56 crores.... and  I have read that they have huge expansion plans and they are adding sum 30 more looms and all...

I dont know if this is true... but Sir please try finding out whether its worth investing at the current price of Rs.140...

Because I don't know a better fundamentalist then you....especially who answers every1s queries and replies immediately..

Yes sir you are absolutely correct... if one is investing through Book Value then Jupiter Bio Sciences Ltd is trading 59.5% below its Book Value..

But Sir, can you make out whether the stock is operator driven or no... coz its a clear indication that Jupiter Biosciences Ltd is operator driven----the stock jumped from Rs.105 to Rs.149 in 2 days and then the same day when it was almost about to hit an upper circuit it came down and down and down and is still going down...

Therefore, basically Sir, how to find out whether a particular stock is operator driven or no.. I wanted to find out whether even VTM Ltd is operator driven or no...

Btw: thanx for reminding that if we go by the Book Value then Jupiter Bio Science is more undervalued.

The markets have made it (VTM Ltd) hit the upper freezes and hence the conclusion. On the other hand Jupiter Bio Science Ltd is having a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company today (i.e October 19, 2010), to discuss and consider the date of opening of the proposed GDR Issue upto US$ 70 Millions. SO MONEY IS COMING IN THE COMPANY WHICH IS POSITIVE--wait for a spike (rise) in the shares of the company. The results of the company would be declared at the end of this month (Last week of October, 2010), which according to my close sources would be good.
