DEEP DIVE ANALYSIS • NSE: NEWGEN • FY26 RESULTS Newgen Software Technologies Ltd: From ₹1,336 TO ₹493 — Valuation Reset or the Next Enterprise AI Compounder?  What the Q4 FY26 Numbers Actually Reveal Beneath the Midcap IT Bloodbath By SUMAN MUKHOPADHYAY | SumanSpeaks Independent Research • June 02, 2026 Newgen Software Technologies Ltd (Rs. 493)   was last trading at a pproximately ₹493 — down nearly 63% from its 52-week high near ₹1,336. In most cases, such a collapse signals severe business deterioration. But Newgen’s FY26 financials tell a far more complicated story. The company remains debt-light, highly profitable, cash-generative, and structurally positioned in one of the most important enterprise themes globally: AI-enabled workflow orchestration. Yet the stock has suffered one of the sharpest valuation compressions in the Indian en...
WINNING STROKES: THINK DIFFERENT:
Northgate Technologies Ltd moves up at top from opening trade. Those who have shorted today, could be in trouble at the end of the day. It is very dangerous to short a scrip when the company has started to perform. I have already mentioned that many market men are now giving short term targets of Rs.32-37--it is obvious, because when the company was in bad shape at that time also the scirp was ruling above Rs.50. Now all those who were predicting Rs.8-10 for Northgate Technologies Ltd, should now give their backs (bottoms), for kick-boxing practice....
Those who have not booked profits in my recommended Kavveri Telecom Ltd (which I recommended around Rs.54) should book profits when the scrip is around Rs.131. I had earlier mentioned to all to book profits and enter at lower levels. My write-up was based on the premise that:
i) the scrip is near its 52-week high price
(ii) the telecom sector is not doing well and facing steep competiton
(iii) only trigger seems to be open offer, because EPS could be manipulated.
(iv) when there are so many less risky scrips to be invested, why run after the shares of this company. The prime objective of anyone in stock market is not only to make money but also reduce risk exposure. If you earn Rs.1 lakhs and lose Rs.3 lakhs then what is the use of such stupid investing techniques??
After my write up in this blog (if you remember) the scrip fell as many booked profits and may be some entered again.
I still feel that it is a little risky to enter the scrips which are near its 52-week high and especially when the telecom sector is not doing well. I have been tracking Kavveri Telecom Ltd, from 2006, when someone gave a target of Rs.500---operators are generally too active in this scrip like RIIL, Ispat Industries Ltd, etc.
But, there is a fellow from Assam who says whatever he likes to get clients (Begging everytime to join his service in various group....Huh!!)--I do not know what sadistic pleasure he gets from these activities.
Earlier he used to talk of giving exact buying and selling levels of scrips, but it seems after the SEL Manufactuing Ltd (and such other scrips) fiasco, he stopped.....However, what to speak of those, who does not know the basics of investing.
