5 power projects may get K-G gas this week
My recommended Glory Polyfilms Ltd, Sicagen India Ltd, VLS Finance Ltd, XL Telecom and Energy Ltd, Pyramid Saimira Theatres Ltd, U B Engineering Ltd, Ansal Housing Ltd, etc. did well yesterday in the bourses...
I have recommended a Stock to the Paid Groups today, which is at Rs.74, but Q1FY10, EPS is Rs.11.92. The name of the scrip is SEL Manufacturing Company Ltd (BSE Code: 532886). The company is into TEXTILES......
It will take sometime for the normal operations to start in the Paid/Free Groups, as passing away (death) of my mom (mother) has shaken me a lot.......
The government is likely to allocate 4.73 million standard cubic metres a day (mmscmd) of gas from the K-G Basin of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) to five power plants by the end of this week. The additional allocation will be made even as the Anil Ambani-owned Reliance Natural Resources Ltd’s plea for quashing earlier gas sale purchase contracts is coming for hearing in the Supreme Court on September 1. “A request has come from the Ministry of Power to allocate gas to more power plants, which are in a state of readiness to receive it. We plan to finalise the allocation this week,” said a senior petroleum ministry official, adding that the allocation can be done even though the empowered group of ministers (EGoM) on the K-G Basin has not been reconstituted after UPA government was re-elected. “The broad guidelines for allocating gas are already there and focus will remain on priority sectors like power and fertiliser in future allocations,” he said.
The plants likely to get allocation are Lanco’s 366 Mw Kondapalli project, GMR Energy’s 220 Mw Tanir Bavi project, NDPL’s 108 Mw Rithala power project, Bawana power project (250 Mw) and Gujarat State Electricity Corporation’s 374 Mw Utran power project.
Most of these are scheduled for commissioning between November 2009 and March 2010. However, since commissioning activities begin three months before the formal date, gas will be required earlier.
RIL’s K-G basin, which started pumping gas this April, is currently producing 37-38 mmscmd of gas. By December, production is estimated to go up to 80 mmscmd. Peak output is estimated at 120 mmscmd. RIL had asked the government to government to make more allocations, so that it could raise output.
The government, on the basis of the gas utilisation policy, and through an EGoM constituted in this regard, made allocation of the initial 40 mmscmd of KG basin gas to various sectors.
Accordingly, 15 mscmd of gas was earmarked for the existing fertiliser plants, 18 mscmd to existing power plants, three mscmd to existing LPG plants and the remaining five mscmd for city gas distribution projects. The government has also fixed a price of $4.2 per mBtu for a five-year period beginning April 2009.
Note: My mom (mother) passed away on 22nd August, 2009 and I have mentioned this in Yahoo Group---SumanSpeaks, long back. Moreover before leaving my work place I had mentioned a number of times that I will be out of station for 15 days, but I find it strange that some Paid Members still send me mails saying that they are not receiving my morning tips. If my mother passes away, how can they expect me to be 100% active on the markets. Are these people vegetables or simply mental patients.
Hence, I think either these members do NOT read my daily letters or have some mental problems. If these fellows have mental problems then they are requested to visit any good hospital except Apollo Hospital, B P Poddar Hospital, etc to get it corrected.
The Apollo Hospitals are known to be money looters all over the India, as compared to the medical services provided. The doctors there in many cases perform operations just for the sake of money, with the ulterior objective of looting the patients. Our former power minister Rangrajan Kumarmanglam was a victim of a wrong diagnosis by the doctors of Apollo Hospital.
I am seriously thinking of systematically exposing the money looting racket in Kolkata/Calcutta in various Private/Semi-private Hospitals (B P Poddar Hospital, Apollo Hospital, Ruby Hospital, K P C Medical College, etc) and all over India in this blog, in the name of giving treatment to patients. My mom is a victim of wrong treatment and diagnosis, which took her life at the end.
If anyone wishes to help me in this regard, they can kindly send in their inputs at suman2005s@rediffmail.com, which will be placed in this blog and in SumanSpeakscurrentaffairs.com from time to time so that this unholy racket is broken and people of this great country can get good medical treatment at a reasonable price.
Moreover, my e-mail address, sumanm2007s@gmail.com is not working and hence any inputs should be sent to either, suman2005s@rediffmail.com or suman2005s@gmail.com.
