WINNING STROKES: THINK DIFFERENT:
[Updated]
I am happy to announce in this blog that the noted BJP leader (a prominent member of the Party's Gen X) and one of the most seasoned women politicians in India, Ms.Sushma (Sharma) Swaraj (after getting married to Shri Swaraj Kaushal) supported my viewa, on Mangalore incident and M F Hussein, in a recent interview in (the print) media when Mr.Jaswant Singh came out with a controversial (read pathetic remark, showing his complete ignorance as regards to the quantum of Notoriety of the dangerous Talibans) remark. Ms.Sushma Swaraj said:

"No, I disagree with Jaswant Singh because, one, he not only supported Congress Union minister Renuka Chowdhury, but he also supported M F Hussain whom we vehemently oppose for his nude painting of Saraswati. I certainly do not agree with Chowdhury’s “pub bharo” campaign. Hussain was disrespectful of Hinduism when he distorted the image of the Goddess of Knowledge. We have no problem if he paints nude women but he cannot strip mythology of its symbolism. Jaswantji is wrong".

It is worth mentioning here that, Ms.Sushma Swaraj, like me, is fond of classical music, drama and fine arts.

It would be appropriate to mention here of a very tragic incident: a blind seven-year-old student at an Islamic school in eastern Pakistan died, after his teacher punished him for not learning the Koran. Muhammad Atif was hung upside down from a ceiling fan and severely beaten by his teacher, Qari Ziauddin, at the seminary or madrassa in Vihari, near Lahore, Pakistani media said.

What is most unfortunate is that the said teacher even failed to take the boy to hospital after he fell ill and his condition deteriorated.

The question remains what is going in Pakistan in the name of Islamisation of the whole World!! Is this what Koran teaches?? Where are we going in terms of Religious Insanity?? However, Pakistani Prime Minister, Mr.Yousuf Raza Gilani had already ordered in inquiry into this sad and tragic incident.

Now look what the outspoken Muslim cleric Taj al-Din al-Hilali, who is the head of Australia’s largest mosque, in the south-western Sydney suburb of Lakemba, says about adultery:

"But when it comes to adultery, it’s 90 per cent the women’s responsibility. Why?

Because a woman possesses the weapon of Seduction. It is she who takes off her clothes, shortens them, flirts, puts on make-up and powder and takes to the streets, God protect us, dallying. It’s she who shortens, raises and lowers. Then it’s a look, then a smile, then a conversation, a greeting, then a conversation, then a date, then a meeting, then a crime, then Long Bay jail. (laughs).

“Then you get a judge, who has no mercy, and he gives you 65 years. “But when it comes to this disaster, who started it?

In his literature, scholar al-Rafihi says: ‘If I came across a rape crime – kidnap and violation of honour – I would discipline the man and order that the woman be arrested and jailed for life.’ Why would you do this, Rafihi?

He says because if she had not left the meat uncovered, the cat wouldn’t have snatched it". “If you take a kilo of meat, and you don’t put it in the fridge or in the pot or in the kitchen but you leave it on a plate in the backyard, and then you have a fight with the neighbour because his cats eat the meat, you’re crazy. Isn’t this true?”.

Amusing (should we call these "amazing" also) arguments.......Isn't it...!! What do you say??!!

We are in a democracy (unlike Pakistan where there is NO democracy at present though was have an elected government. There cannot be something called Islamic Democracy--the idea is totally Utopian) where we can debate and discuss on controversial issue to find out the best possible line (or solutions) in a given set of conditions.

I believe there is no place of "Ghettoism or Ghettoes or Ghettoize " in any democracy....

Now coming back to the Stock Market, we see that Crude Oil jumped up on stock market bounce and OPEC compliance. I have already said this when the Crude Oil was trading around $34 per barrel, last week.

That is why I say, you need not go anywhere, but this read this blog to churn out good money from the stock markets. These are free notes provided to you at your desk. But if you need special notes or learn how to trade in the markets, you must Join the PAID SERVICES.

Meanwhile, my recently recommended Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd (Research Report is placed at: www.sumanspeaksplus.blogspot.com) hit the buyer freeze yesterday on massive volume, before cooling down a bit. Those who have still not entered the counter should do it immediately with a SL of Rs.22 for some superb gains in future.

Pyramid Saimira Theatres Ltd came out of the lower circuits to clock massive volumes. The stock at the end closed flat after rising to Rs.17.35. Those who have still not accumulated the counter should do it immediately or at the earliest, for short (investing for 6 to 7 months is still considered as short term) to medium term (7 to 12 months).

Inspite of downgrades Areva T&D Ltd moved up yesterday due to its inherent fundamentals. The company's share price which was once ruling at Rs.1959.95 is today available at Rs.171.75. Can you believe? Don't hear anyone---simply accumulate the scrip on all declines.

Moreover, my favourite XL Telecom & Energy Ltd moved up by 3.13% after nearly hitting the upper freeze, yesterday. This stock is going to be multi-bagger in an age when Mr.Barrack Hussein Obama is taking of giving special emphasis to the alternative energy (Renewable Energy) companies/sector. Just go on accumulating without fail at the current price. The stock could rise up today, due to rise in the Crude Oil prices and some favourable developments coming in the telecom sector. The Crude Prices are expected to rise further due to the rise in the prices of Sugar---a key ingredient in the making of ethanol.

My recently recommended ICSA Ltd moved up to the immediate targets of Rs.89--Rs.93, due to the government coming out with favourable announcements in the Power Sector. The UPA Government at the centre exempted Naptha from customs duty to provide relief to the power sector. It also extended customs duty in Naptha beyond March 31, 2009.

Ram Informatics Ltd which gets most of its business from the domestic market moved up yesterday by 5.22% on the news of protectionism by Barrack Obama regime in the US. I have been campaigning all NOT to support Mr.Obama from last year, even when most of the Indian Channels (Lead by NDTV Ltd) were showering "petals of praises" on his election as the President of the US, terming it as "Historic Win".

Yes, Mr.Obama's win was indeed "Historic" as large Indian IT companies (especially those into BPO sector, like First Source Solutions Ltd) would soon find outsourcing "In the books of History only".

The Ghost of protectionism which started its ominous journey from the corridors of IT Sectors, could soon spread to other sectors as well. Democrats have always been notorious for protectionism; but yet the Arab (Read Islamic Countries) and India supported them in the last elections.

Leaving aside the Islamic Countries, whose single point NOTORIOUS agenda is the establishment of Islamic Republics wherever they (Muslims) are in Majority (Bangladesh is the new addition while they are trying to do the same thing in Egypt without much success. In Egypt the hardline Islamic Scholars are even talking of introducing the dreaded islamic law "Sharia" in toto), it is unfortunate that Indian Media supported the Candidature of Mr.Barrack Obama.

The Indian voters who looked overwhelmed and joyous on seeing a young leader sitting on to the saddle of power have already been shell-shocked by the recent comments of President Mr.Barrack Obama on outsouring.

Yes those who were talking of (or thinking of) "Change" and which earlier ignited hopes in the minds of millions of Indians, must have found this new definition of "Change annoying, protectionist and points towards ultra-conservatism".

Their hopes for a change for the good, a change which would usher a new era of peace, prosperity, equality, freedom and employment for all besides making this globe a safer place to live in, have already been shattered by Mr.Obama, when he (a) supported peace deal with the Blood sucker Talibans and (b) talked of cutting tax concessions to the US companies who are involved in outsourcing.

THIS WAS EXPECTED TO HAPPEN AND I PREDICTED THIS ALMOST EIGHT TO NINE MONTHS EARLIER---but very few listened to me at that time. India Media, was busy creating halo, around Mr.Obama's head. Mr.Swapan Das Gupta wrote: "The hype surrounding President Barack Obama’s election and inauguration has cast a global shadow over sobriety and realism. A world devastated by what Vladimir Putin referred to in Davos as “the perfect storm” seems to have found solace in a euphoria last witnessed during the youthful turbulence of 1968 or, more appropriately, the Beatles-mania of the mid-1960s. At a TV programme for India’s Republic Day, the panellists (including me, the token Right winger) were incessantly harangued by the youthful audience drawn from management institutes around Delhi with the question: Why can’t we have an Obama? Ironically, I was asked the same question by some volunteers at L K Advani’s sleek campaign office in Delhi — a question that left me convinced that this was the end of civilisation as I know it".

Then he goes on to write the most pungent part: "The groundwork for a C-grade remake of the US presidential campaign is already underway. The Mangalore pub attack by ideologically-driven hooligans has been painted as an assault on the visible symbols of bling modernity: the glitzy malls, the free mingling of the sexes, cheap booze and call centres. Carefully chosen photographs of Rahul Gandhi, dressed in smart casuals, holding up the bar (but sans the mandatory glass) have been used to send out a politico lifestyle statement. The “cool” Gandhi and his equally cool band of young Congress MPs who flaunt busy-looking mobile phones and are networked on Facebook are subtly painted as the upholders of the Obama tradition in India. The young inheritors, ranging from Rahul baba to Omar Abdullah are made out to be India’s literal answer to Obama’s “smart power”.

They are complemented by a new (but as yet invisible) breed of Congress activists, handpicked by Rahul or his associates, young, educated and committed to good works". "If the Indian election is going to be determined on the strength of lifestyles and correspond to the perceived yearnings of that amorphous mass that goes by the name of ‘Young India’, the non- Congress parties may as well be reconciled to sitting in opposition for the next five years. If the same spiel and imagery used by advertising agencies to sell mobile phones, clothes and pizzas to the under-40s can shape the political preferences of the target group, the younger Gandhi should be a shooin. Obama-mania, the baba-log strategists calculate, will reproduce itself in India as an endorsement of Rahul ..................Obama’s election was preceded by a year of intensive campaigning and public scrutiny. The covert Rahul-for-PM campaign seems to have been transfixed by the outward image of Obama. To American voters, Obama was all about an idyllic change; to the wannabe Obamas in Delhi, it is all about his facility with the Blackberry".

Now, what is important here, is that such protectionism coming from Mr.Obama, has already put the NSUI (the Youth Wing of the Congress) in back-seat. It is to be noted that NSUI had recently started comparing Rahul Gandhi with Barack Obama more aggressively on the point that said: "When the citizens of United States can repose faith in Obama, why can’t we Indians put our faith in Rahul Gandhi who is young, dynamic and has his own charisma".

And now when the real "Atom Bomb" was busted in US by Mr.Obama, both the Congress and NSUI are in a quandary as what to do....??!!

The maddening "Jai Ho" rants from "Oscar Gardens" have now given way to "Vinash Hai" (death-knell), the ultimate euphemism of stark reality. The truth is that you can get Oscars from the US masters (I think that was a foreign film in which we had our Indian Team) by "Portraying India in a very bad light" (Late Satyajit Roy also portrayed Indian Poverty in his "Pather Pachali") to the world, but when it comes to actuals, it is still a far cry to milk this brand of Democrats, who are drunk by excessive doses of Nationalism.
