Straight from the Gut:
How is Ms.Arundhuti Roy, still moving in the open after such "outrageous statements on Kashmir Issue". Someone should put a Tape around her lips before this "cartoon" belches more such "Foolish Statements and Confuses the Indian masses". What to do with a person who have never ever tried to read Indian History and have always tried to get personal mileage out of everything, starting from Narmada Bachao Andolan...
Supreme Court had once put this lady behind the Bars on the charges of Contempt of Court.
She should be tried for treason and government should take strict action against her immediately, failing which the things could get out of control in the troubled state. Press and the electronic media should ignore this women............
Why should the people of Kashmir and domiciles of some North Eastern States of Indian Union be given Special Status?? Are the citizens in these places from Moon??!! I was amazed to see the collective voice of a section of Kashmirs on NDTV, who were demanding that every land in J & K, belongs to the Kashmiris only.....What a Selfish Attitude.....???!!
So what about other 95 crore-plus Indian Citizens (of all Religions and Castes) !! If that be so, then the questions remains why should these Kashmiris be allowed to buy land in Delhi, Mumbai or Kolkata or other parts of India?? When the other provinces can stay and thrive with India, what is their problem...??? Is it in imported problem??
Successive Governments in Indian Union had loose policy or the policy of appeasment on Kashmir and this has resulted in these kinds of troubles........
If Pakistan is creating all the problems then India should attack Pakistan and teach that country a lesson for meddling in India's internal policy. I wonder what would have the mighty USA or China done if the same thing happend to their country for years and months......
The question remains "Freedom from whom" and "Why"??? I remember how the British Governemnt took dealt the Irish uprising and crushed the rebellion there with strong hands.....
Enough is enough and Battle Tanks should be rolled in there, like China did in Tibet and all Indian Citizen be allowed to buy land in Kashmir.....Unless this is done, I do not think, it will ever be possible to bring any solution to this issue.....When the militants use RDX and AK47 to go for mass killing of innocent people how can that, "Omar Abdullah" ask the government to use Water Cannons to dispel mobs....Indian Soldiers have no family and no price for their lives....?? What a "sham" statement.... This Abdullah family have always milked both the centre and the Kashmirs to amas huge fortunes for their families. Now another family from Kashmir (read Mufti family), is trying to imitate the "Same easy formula" for success by fooling the local Kashmiris......
It is to be remebered that any organised Treason or Anti-national activity cannot be stopped by putting "Rasogollas/Laddoos in every mouth"....If Mr.Siddhartha Shankar Roy, the noted lawyer and once CM of West Bengal had not used Brutal Force to "Quell the Naxal Movements in Bengal", in 1970s, the situation in West Bengal would have been different now......
When a child does not understand or does not want to pay heed to the good sermons of her parents then "Stick or the language of Baton, should be the ultimate weapon to reform that child.
I wonder when some Kashmirs say,"It is a disputed Territory"!!! what they mean........ I wonder what is the dispute about........
The programme was however marred by the "tubelight host" Barkha Dutt. The programme could have been better if it was hosted by the likes of Vir Sanghvi. I do not know why NDTV gives her so importance, when the programme hosted by this host has always been one sided and "toilet like". I have never ever in my life liked the programme hosted by this lady who has been other face of "Yellow Journalism":
BJP, Cong lash out at Arundhati; dub her loose canon
NOT THE WRITE STUFF: Arundhati Roy has come under attack over her controversial statement on Kashmir.
New Delhi: Author Arundhati Roy came under attack from the Congress and the BJP over her controversial statement on Kashmir with the ruling party dubbing her a "loose cannon" and the main opposition saying her remarks were "nothing short of sedition".
Congress spokesman Manish Tewari said the author and activist was a "loose cannon who has abused liberal traditions of India to the fullest."
"I think it is a great tribute to the tolerance of India's ethos that a person who openly calls for cessation of India is not being locked up and the keys are not being thrown away."
Echoing similar sentiments, BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said Roy's statement was "outrageous".
"This is outrageous. This is against national spirit and nationalism. She is attacking the integrity of the country. This is nothing short of sedition," he said adding that the country does not approve her stand.
Roy had said in Srinagar that the "people of Kashmir have made themselves abundantly clear that they want complete freedom" and the government should pay heed to their demand.
