The Power sector is heating up in the next few months as Power Ministry under the government of India plans to list at least three central power companies over the next few months.
While hydel major NHPC will be the first to hit the market some time later this year, Damodar Valley Corporation and North Eastern Electric Power Corporation will follow suit.
This will give a push to all the Power Sector companies like Reliance Energy Ltd (Reliance Infrastructure Ltd), CESC Ltd, PFC, Power Grid Corporation Ltd. This is a great news for the Power Sector.
