WINNING STROKES: The Power sector is heating up in the next few months as Power Ministry under the government of India plans to list at least three central power companies over the next few months . While hydel major NHPC will be the first to hit the market some time later this year, Damodar Valley Corporation and North Eastern Electric Power Corporation will follow suit. This will give a push to all the Power Sector companies like Reliance Energy Ltd (Reliance Infrastructure Ltd), CESC Ltd, PFC, Power Grid Corporation Ltd. This is a great news for the Power Sector .
WINNING STROKES: THINK DIFFERENT: In the US, the Stocks surge higher, led by financial: If there is a supply destruction in crude which some insignificant number of analysts are speaking of then what about the demand destruction of crude in the next few years due to more use of eco-friendly automobiles like run on Hydrogen, Solar, Electric or on Ethanol blended petrol?? Also with more and more Hydel Power projects coming up and at the same time increased use of Wind and Solar Energy do not find the demand for Crude Oil too much envious in the next couple of years. In fact the demand for crude could come down drastically if the Hydrogen Powered or Electric Automobiles becomes success. Already the use of Diesel Powered Generator Sets are becoming obselete due to increased use of electic power generated from Wind, Water and Solar Energy. In the US people have started to buy small car and is shifting towards two wheelers instead of big SUVs: In the short term the Crude Oil is expected to ...
Fed takes steps to break through credit clogs, help economy get back on track: WASHINGTON-- Focused on getting the nation's credit gears smoothly working again, the Federal Reserve is letting Wall Street firms draw emergency loans into next year and giving financial companies more options to help them overcome credit problems. The Fed's announcement on Wednesday marks its latest effort to get credit -- the economy's oxygen -- flowing more freely. A global credit crisis that erupted last August has hobbled the U.S. economy, already reeling from a housing meltdown. As financial companies have racked up multibillion dollar losses on soured mortgage investments and credit problems spread to other areas, firms have hoarded cash and clamped down on lending. That has crimped spending by people and businesses, which in turn has weighed on the national economy -- a vicious cycle the Fed wants desperately to break. To that end, the Fed announced that investment houses can now tap th...
WINNING STROKES: THINK DIFFERENT: My yesterday's morning intra-day calls, Tata Communications Ltd, Sterlite Industries Ltd, and Suzlon Ltd flared up and reached the targets: My Short term calls, Punj Lloyd and Sathavahana Ispat Ltd also did well yesterday, especially the former. Punj Lloyd was earlier recommended in this blog at arond Rs.205--Rs.210. I think many of you who bought believing me have made good amount of money in this call: K Sera Sera Productions Ltd hit the buyer freeze with good volumes: Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Ltd hit another buyer freeze on the news that it will get continuous supply of orders from the Reliance Group and will not be affected by any adverse interest rate regime, in future. Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Ltd has very low equity base of around Rs.15.1, but have continuous and growing order book position: So how will the markets behave tomorrow and where to put the money??? Why did Ennore Coke Ltd fell today?? Is there a bad new...

WINNING STROKES: [Updated] Today Crude Oil fell further to $121.93 per barrel and I think it is only a matter of time when the crude oil will crash land to below $120 per barrel on the Nymex. If you remember I was saying this from the time when the crude oil was about to breach $150 mark in the International Markets. As mentioned in an earlier mail to the Paid Groups (and to those who are plying on the Nifty Futures), 4300 on the Nifty is breached and this was the last resistance. Now onwards with much more clarity from the government and RBI and with Crude Oil prices receding, we are in for a Strong August (both the meaning of August....lol) Rally. A huge short covering is expected to take place, which will take the markets to above 4350 in the days to come. Today my recommended Reliance Infrastructure Ltd (Reliance Energy Ltd) is going great. I am hoping that it will cross Rs.1000 within a very short time. Investors (Free Group Members) can buy the following stocks: 1. BGR Energy ...
WINNING STROKES: THINK DIFFERENT: As expected Crude Oil prices crashed to around $122.19 per barrel. Now I am looking at a price of less than $100 per barrel within the next few months. Ashish Kapoor , who said that the General Consensus for the crude oil is to go up, has been proved wrong once again. The problem these days is that unless people show their faces on TV Channels, many think they bullshits; but now I think the table turning on the opposite direction. It is because increasing number of analysts who proliferate TV Channels these days, barring a few, have been proved wrong in a number of occasions : I am also told that business channels' viewership is going down these days and people are giving more important good source based information found on the Internet . Udayan Should stop using the word " marketmen " eveytime while giving great speeches on Business Channels or to paint all the market participants with the same brush. I think his world of " ma...

WINNING STROKES: THINK DIFFERENT: Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Ltd as expected and as mentioned in the Yahoo Group, SumanSpeaks, hit the buyer freeze on the news that the company would get immensely benefitted by the Indo-US Civil & Nuclear Co-operation. Moreover the fact that its equity capital is very low will further flavour to the scrip going forward. With such a low equity capital and ever flowing orders in the company's fold, I do not know upto what level the stock could go. But I sincerely hope that Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Ltd could be another Jai Corp Ltd and will break earlier highs ma de in October, 2007. The Short term targets for Reliance Industrial Infrastructuer Ltd, could be Rs.5,000: Last week's "Quickie Call" (Very short term calls to the Paid Members) IFB Agro Industries Ltd, which is into making of liquor hit the buyer freeze. This Calcutta based company is doing excellently well, after a restructing of its operations: Ennore...
Ennore Coke Ltd: The scrip to move into new Groove very soon: I think you all know that Ennore Coke Ltd is one of my favourite counters. I have been watching this baby become adult from the child. There are some latest developements in the company which I want to share with you. These things has already been discussed with the Paid Groups. The Quickie Call for Today (28th July, 2008), Aishwarya Telecom Ltd (BSE Code-->532975) hit the buyer freeze in the opening trade. My hearty congrats!! to all the "Quickie Group members" for buying Aishwarya Telecom Ltd, today in the opening trade : 1. Ennore Coke Ltd has bought a coal mine which could be announced within the next 2 months. The company is in the process of completing the formalities for buying the same. The company now has three stories in place: Mining Story, Met Coke Story and Power Story. Moreover the fact that it is from the noted Shriram Group adds value to its share price. According to many analysts it is better t...

The ULFA to use the HUJI cadres for subversive activities in Assam: New Delhi: The banned United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) has arrived at an agreement with the Bangladesh-based Harkat-ul-Jihad-al Islami (HUJI) to operate jointly in Assam. According to informed sources, the ULFA leadership, which has taken refuge in neighbouring Bangladesh, has taken this step to keep their local benefactors happy. Sources said it has agreed to provide logistical support to HUJI cadres for it to effectively target civilians and other "manned" installations in Assam. The Harkat-ul-Jihad-al Islami Bangladesh (HUJI-B) was established in 1992, reportedly with assistance from Osama bin Laden's International Islamic Front (IIF). The outfit's activities, however, were first noticed in June 1996 after the Awami League (AL) came to power. It was subsequently proscribed by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)-led coalition Government on October 17, 2005. The HuJI-B is led by Shawkat Os...

The US Senate passes landmark housing bill: Controversial measure aims to help borrowers, bolster the housing market and provide a fail-safe for Fannie and Freddie. Bush is likely to sign it soon. NEW YORK -- The Senate on Saturday overwhelmingly passed a landmark housing bill that will offer up to $300 billion in loans for troubled homeowners and establish a government rescue plan for mortgage finance giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The House passed the bill on Wednesday just hours after President Bush reversed his long-standing vow to veto the bill. Bush is expected to sign it soon. The legislation, one of the most far-reaching on housing in decades, marks the centerpiece of Washington's efforts to address the nation's housing meltdown. "This legislation won't perform miracles. But as others have said, it's a step - and I hope an important step - to putting our nation on the road to economic recovery," said Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., chairman o...

Blasts rock Ahmedabad Ahmedabad: A series of 16 synchronised bombings ripped through Gujarat's main city of Ahmedabad on Saturday evening, a day after terror rocked India's IT hub Bangalore, leaving at least 29 people dead and 88 injured, with the government sounding a nation-wide alert. Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi said after a meeting of the top police brass that there were 16 blasts, killing 29 people and injuring 88. The coordinated bombings with explosives planted in bicycles and in lunch boxes, similar to the eight low-intensity blasts in Bangalore, went off within a span of 70 minutes and in an area with a radius of 10 kilometres, setting off panic in congested neighbourhoods in the eastern part of the city, including Modi's constituency Maninagar. "The toll is likely to go up and we are just keeping our fingers crossed that everything remains calm," said Home Minister Shivraj Patil. In a 14-page email to media organisations minutes before the blas...
