SumanSpeaks Capital Markets & Geopolitical Intelligence · Estd 2006 Business Transformation SEPC Ltd: The Market Sees an Order. It's Missing a Revolution. It's a Business Model Coup. Mining now makes up 41% of SEPC's standalone order book. A zero-cash acquisition is opening the door to ADNOC-grade oil & gas consultancy in the Middle East. Individually, these look like two good pieces of news. Put together, they describe a company quietly rebuilding what it actually is. Markets often react to the size of an order. They rarely ask whether that order signals a transformation in the business itself. SEPC's ₹3,300 crore Rampur Batura coal mining contract looked, at first glance, like another healthy addition to an already-growing order book. Read differently, it looks like something more interesting: an early marker of SEPC Ltd (...
While Inflation is definitely a cause of concern, but NDA, BSP, SP and the retrograde Left Parties should stop politicising it--this is annoying, hackneyed and opportunistic in nature. The current Inflation figures are much better as compared to the immediate past. These cheap politics will not win Votes for the Opposition and Left Parties, at the end of the day as people are not fool. Yes there might be some loopholes in the UPA's policies but with Crude Oil at $100 plus per barrel and food prices shooting over the roof in the International Markets, the Government of India is somewhat helpless. It is doing all it can do stop the wanton rise of Inflation: But I was not at all happy with the "Sledge Hammer Approach of the UPA" to tame the "Inflation tiger". There was no need to contain inflation within 2-3 months and fall into the Opposition trap. The CRR hike simply proved that the earlier steps taken by the government were all useless--a discredit which they invited by going to the CRR route. This is the mistake the P Chidambaram team has made this time and simply missed the opprotunity to score brownie points of show-casing to the opposition that Inflatin can be contained without hiking the CRR: Government fully knows that the WPI figures are simply "nonsense" as it does not include the Services Sector which accounts nearly 50% of the GDP---so why is the Government worried so much????!!!!! I think all the political parties should have innovative minds and it seems most of them are prisoners of the same old gimmicks to win votes: There was no need for a CRR hike when the markets were stabilising and the US markets are on "animal spirits", after a long time: UPA has shot themselves on the foot and any CRR hike will be looked upon as a case of lost opportunity: P Chidambaram and Dr. Reddy have only bored Indians in the last few years with their "Drab and unattractive and vote-bank-based policies". In a population of 1 billion, I do not know why the UPA cannot find a "Sane and Updated" Governor of the RBI. Another one of the same breed was Mr. Damodaran and investors were relieved after this man has finally bid farewell to the markets---an end to his eccentricities:
But, having said these ofcourse we do not need Mr.Lalo Prasad Yadav type "innovative solutions". Just read below what Mr.Yadav, who "claims to have blood relations with Lord Krishna" said about Inflation:
Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav had an "original and innovative suggestion" on disciplining the iron ore and steel industry, the simplicity of which took everyone's breath away. "What if I stop giving iron ore exporters wagons to transport ore?" Lalu enquired of the gathering. "Then" he concluded triumphantly "they will not be able to take their product to ports for shipping. Prices will fall automatically. EVERYONE SMILED". THIS IS THE CONDITION OF ONE OF THE MINISTERS FROM THE UPA --"Yes indeed Lall--loooooooo--eee hai".....Lol.....: So how will the markets behave on Monday? What is the latest on Kohinoor Broadcasting Corporation Ltd, Jindal Photo Ltd, Premier Explosives Ltd and Ferro Alloys Corporation Ltd: Southern Online Bio Technologies Ltd, Entegra Ltd,Kohinoor Broadcasting Corporation Ltd, Phoenix International Ltd etc. are expected to do well on Monday: The media companies will be on fire in the days to come: Please keep accumulating K Sera Sera Productions Ltd on all declines:My Grandma is seriously ill and is in ICU and hence this blog might not be updated regularly till her conditions become stable. Pyramid scales China Wall for Entertainment Business:
Chennai: City-based entertainment major Pyramid Saimira Group will set up a 50:50 joint venture (JV) with China's Longzhe Group to cash in on the emerging entertainment market in that country, said a top official. "We will invest Rs.3 billion ($75 million) in our Chinese venture to operate theatres, distribute film and television programmes (Indian, Chinese and Hollywood movies and Indian TV serials dubbed into in Chinese) and for other activities. The Chinese partner will also invest a similar amount," P.S. Saminathan, managing director of Pyramid, told reporters here Saturday.
People of Chinese origin are spread across the world like the NRIs, who in turn offer entertainment companies good opportunities in terms of film, television and serial distribution.
The JV company will take the Chinese programmes to other parts of the world where people of Chinese origin live, and international programmes to China. The proposed entertainment company plans to operate around 350 screens across China.
"The $2 billion Chinese entertainment industry is in a nascent stage. The Chinese want to create an entertainment ecosystem there and this offers us the first mover advantage," he added.
The entertainment industry in China is badly affected by piracy and the western countries want the Chinese government to control it.
Pyramid will invest Rs.1 billion more in cultural exchange programmes following a memorandum of understanding signed between the Indian firm and China Society Music Research Board, which is under that country's ministry of culture.
Note: Due to too much "mad rush" to join the Paid Services (Premuim and Quickie), I am a little worried......Hence I am thinking of closing the Fresh Enrollments from "End of the Next Month" for 15--20 days, to maintain the "Quality of the Services", till things are structured at my end to on the "New Capacity Additions".

So if the Fresh Enrollments are stopped, from the "End of the Next Month or at anytime from Tomorrow", no new request for Fresh Enrollments to the Paid Services will be entertained.

Moreover, I might be incorprating some more features to the Paid Services (for Indian Citizens and the NRIs), after that restructuring is complete, with a slight increase in the Price Tag (may be or may not be)--of course with an attractive package.

For the Portfolio Management Service (PMS), the Indian citizens and the NRIs should have a minimum Portfolio Size of Rs.5 lakhs and Rs.15 lakhs respectively.
