 Updates on Ambalal Sarabhai Enterprise Ltd: Already published in Yahoo Group SumanSpeaks: 
This is my original Research Work and not stolen from somewhere, like what that scoundrel Uttam Saraf does--his "Chor Group Members" gets those morsels at a fraction of the original cost...in a totally unethical game..!!
I have spoken with the sources close to me in Ambalal Sarabhai Enterprise Ltd. Earlier I had the impression that the workers' strike is in the whole company but  I learnt that the workers strike is ONLY in the main Baroda plant and the other plants are running as per schedule. 
Moreover, the settlement with the workers are also on the cards and the strike could be withdrawn at any time. I am told by the sources that the strike could end up within the next 30 days (maximum). According to Amit (From Maharastra and a regular contributor to Yahoo Group--SumanSpeaks) the land bank valuation of the Baroda factory is too much high and that can alone take the scrip to above Rs.34-35. According to Amit (from Maharastra), the land bank valuation of Baroda plant is around Rs.500 Cr. The CMP of the scrip is only Rs.11.35. The company is looking for some loans from Banks.....

The other plants, where production is going on are:

(a) The Bulk Drugs facilities of the Company which were used by Asence Pharma  Pvt. Ltd, a wholly Owned subsidiary of the company.

(b) The Bulk Drugs plant of Synbiotics Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of  the company at Luna which commenced production  activities, at the end of last year.

(c) Electronics Division of the company.

The maximum contribution came from Broadcast business in FY09 as the Company has increased the trading activity and added more items and customers (I am yet to get detailed figures for the FY10). For FY11, Electronics Division of the Company has lined up  high end products for marketing from reputed manufacturers and has also owned new products like Turbidity meter, Hb meter, Vis- Doublebeam Spectra, etc. Moreover, Telerad Division would try to get the maximum possible orders for  Spares/other Peripherals keeping Dollar business and system sales  improving.

During FY09, the Company has promoted a Company viz. Vovantis Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. The Company has acquired manufacturing and marketing Company i.e. Suvik  Hitek Pvt. Ltd. The Ethical Division has re-launched the products of  Suvik and Sarabhai Chemicals in market as planned with new team of  field force who has promoted products to the selected doctors in India.

The Oncology Division is also strengthened by adding new products and team of field force. During FY09 and FY10, Oncology Division has launched two new products viz. Fludagem & Xtinib.
